Benvenuto Brunello

The Consortium’s flagship event has always been that of “Benvenuto Brunello”, which sees the presentation of the new Brunello di Montalcino vintage, alongside other local wines with denomination of origin, launched on the market at the start of the new year. Alongside the presence of producers of Montalcino, the event has always welcomed Italian and foreign journalists, those involved in the sector, and wine enthusiasts.

Benvenuto Brunello also sees the announcement of the stars given for the most recent Brunello harvest, with the laying of the commemorative plaque on the wall of the historic Town Hall of Montalcino. Last, but by no means least, Benvenuto Brunello represents the perfect occasion on which to award the Leccio d’Oro to restaurants and wine shops that stand out, in Italy and around the world, for their wide and representative range of Brunello di Montalcino.
